This detached property, accessed down a narrow country lane, offers peace and tranquillity and adjoins 40 acres of its own land, with beautiful walks, climbs and even caves and a waterfall to explore. The tranquil Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal is less than a mile from the property. The village centre of Govilon is just a short walk away and is right in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The village also lies on the edge of the Blaenavon World Heritage site, home to several historic attractions including the Big Pit National Coal Museum, Blaenavon Heritage Railway and Blaenavon Iron Works. There are many miles of walks, cycle routes and towpaths within easy reach, and opportunities to try climbing, abseiling, canoeing, and caving are all on your doorstep. For a more restful day trip, nearby Abergavenny is a must, which has built an excellent culinary reputation and a visit to the award winning high street in Crickhowell is highly recommended.
