Secluded converted henhouse set in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Country and mountain walks are right on your doorstep, with the Sugar Loaf and Skirrid providing an amazing backdrop. Three miles to the delightful, historic town of Abergavenny with an eclectic mix of shops, pubs and restaurants, with regular food festivals and markets to enjoy. Visit nearby galleries, museums and historic castles at Grosmont, White Castle and Raglan. Interesting days out at Blaenavon Iron Works and The Big Pit or perhaps try star gazing at the Brecon Beacons Visitor Centre. There are plenty of activities to enjoy including riding, golf, kayaking on the Usk and Wye or a visit to Hay on Wye, the town of books, which is within easy reach. This beautiful property, lovingly converted in 2017 makes a perfect venue for a large group or family gathering, with the five en suite bedrooms and two open plan lounge/kitchen/dining spaces offering plenty of privacy for all involved. Entering the largest of these living spaces the double height interior is a marvellous surprise with a light and airy feel and clean contemporary finish. There are two leather sofas around a large coffee table where you can play games or watch the Smart TV. On the other side of the room is a stylish modern kitchen with granite peninsular equipped with an electric oven, large induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer and Bluetooth speaker. Beyond the peninsular is a smart walnut dining table from where French doors lead to a patio area, with a teak dining table and chairs, and enclosed garden beyond. There are three bedrooms that lead from this large crisp living space: a spacious king size bedroom with a large en suite limestone wet room and WC, a king size bedroom with en suite shower room and WC, and a twin room (that can be made up as a super king size on request) with an en suite bathroom. Through a corridor from the living area you'll find the second large open plan lounge/kitchen/dining space. Again there are two leather sofas around a reclaimed wood coffee table and Smart TV. This kitchen has a charming country character, and is well equipped with an electric oven with induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, washing machine and Bluetooth speaker. This bright welcoming space also has a marvellous pine dining table, with benches, that comfortably seats ten. Bi fold doors lead to a further patio area and enclosed garden. There are two bedrooms that lead from this living space: a spacious king size bedroom with en suite shower room and WC, and a twin room (that can be made up as a super king size on request) with an en suite bathroom. A fabulous and warming property, with underfloor heating that make this a super retreat at any time of year. Outside there are large enclosed gardens which are laid to lawn, there is a patio, garden furniture and lovely views. There is ample private parking by the property.
