The shore path at Bassenthwaite is just 6 miles away and runs the length of the west shore. Keswick is only 14 miles away and hosts the popular Mountain Festival annually with some world class sports, outdoor activities, talks and films, as well as live music. Whinlatter Forest is only 7 miles away why not visit Go Ape or hire bikes and explore the forest trails? For something a little different, walk an alpaca or abseil 120ft into a disused quarry. As you enter the property through its private entrance, you will find coat and boot storage just inside the front door. Head up the stairs to the first floor and you will find a bright and spacious lounge with views over the high street.
