Apartment in Cumbria, Keswick

Lake District. Sleeps up to 2

Get away to this homely, second floor apartment, ideally located within the colourful, market town of Keswick, with its museums and galleries, cinema and Theatre by the Lake. From here, book a trip on the lake to immerse yourselves in the beauty of the area or hire a canoe, kayak or small motorboat. Hire bicycles or go horse riding or pony trekking. Stroll 2 miles out of town to see the famous Castlerigg Stone Circle or attempt the renowned 3.5 mile Catbells walk, which starts on the other side of the lake, 5 miles away. The Derwentwater launch stops close by for a lift back to town and also disembarks at Lingholm, where you can see the garden that inspired Beatrix Potter s tales. Open the door on to this welcoming apartment, head up one flight of stairs and find yourselves in an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with splendid views. Return home from exciting days out to unwind in here in front of the TV with Freeview and Netflix or to enjoy a few pages of your holiday read. On chilly nights switch on the wood burner style electric fire. At mealtimes, head through to the kitchen area, with its electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. Cook up tasty treats and enjoy romantic dinners as you gaze out of the window. As bedtime beckons, wander through to the bedroom, with its king size bed. There is also an en suite shower room, with WC and handbasin, plus a dressing area. Climb one step up from the bedroom to let yourselves out on to the roof terrace. Enjoy breakfast out here on sunny mornings or a glass of wine as the sun goes down. Take in the view as you relax out in the fresh air. The apartment comes with parking for one car and storage for bicycles.
