Set in the village of Portinscale, just a 1 mile walk or 2 mile drive from Keswick, the holiday home is less than 0.25 miles from the shores of beautiful Derwentwater. Book a cruise to take in the spectacular scenery from the water or try canoeing, kayaking or paddle boarding. Lace up your walking boots and walk 8 miles all the way round the lake or attempt the famous 9 mile Coledale Horseshoe, which starts at Braithewaite, just 1.5 miles from the apartment. Stroll into Keswick to shop for local provisions or book a table in a pub or restaurant. Enter via a shared entrance hall, where you can hang coats and outdoor wear and leave your wellies and shoes. Climb the stairs up to your own bolthole and open the door to find the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with characterful, sloping beamed ceilings and plenty of light. Spend your evenings in here together, reading, chatting or listening to music on the stereo. Choose a film to watch on the Smart TV or DVD player. Make your way into the kitchen area when it is time to prepare a meal. There is integrated double oven, plus halogen hobs, a microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer in here. Enjoy your meals together at the table. Head to the bedroom after your long and busy day to find a super king size bed (which can also be arranged as twins upon request). Gaze out over the gardens and surrounding landscape from here. The en suite bathroom features a bath, with shower over, WC and handbasin. Enjoy the shared grounds on warm and sunny days. Relax in the fresh air with a cup of tea and a slice of cake and take in the views. The apartment comes with designated parking.
