Nestled on the edge of Falmouth, in the hamlet of Goldenbank, is this delightful home, Charlestown Cottage. Situated just a mile from the beach, this welcoming abode offers a fabulous escape for families eager to enjoy some time near the sea. Leave your car in the off-road parking space, before unloading your bags and making your way into your new home-from-home. Discover the open-plan living area, sure to be social hub of the property, complete with all the mods and cons required for a short break, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and even a washing machine, so there’s no need to pack your whole wardrobe! Prepare the dining table for a delicious home-made feast or order in a local takeaway from Falmouth. Get comfortable upon the sofa as you flick on the Smart TV and browse for your favourite shows, before heading to the bathroom for a refreshing rinse before bed. The master bedroom offers a double bed and TV, while the second provides a 4ft double which is accessible for only one guest. Both bedrooms are neatly presented with soft furnishings and plenty of storage for your items. Spend a moment or two in the garden patio, complete with a seating area where you can chill out with a glass of fizz in hand. Head for a stroll around the local area, perhaps exploring the coastal footpaths of Maenporth Cove and Swanpool Beach. Make the most the Pendra Loweth Café and bar, ideal for grabbing a quick bite to eat on those evenings when you don’t feel like cooking, plus there is a fully-equipped gym and tennis courts where you can get some exercise, and an outdoor soft play area for the little ones.Shared plunge pool. Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the river towards Truro. However you choose to spend your precious holiday time, return to the charm of Charlestown Cottage for an evening of relaxation.
