Situated in the heart of the beautiful seaside village of Thorpeness, 6 Lakeside Avenue is ideal for guests who have come to visit the area for long or short breaks all year round as it is just a short walk from the beach, golf course, pub and Meare, where you can hire boats to explore the islands.
The bustling seaside town of Aldeburgh is a couple of minutes away by car and boasts some lovely restaurants, cafés, shops and pubs. The marshes between Thorpeness and Aldeburgh are perfect for bird watchers and there are plenty of lovely walks in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The house has a big utility room, lovely large kitchen and breakfast room, two sitting rooms (both with TV's) five bedrooms including two on the ground floor and three bathrooms.
There is a private enclosed back garden with outdoor furniture and a BBQ as well as a front garden.
In the back garden, separate from the main house, is a studio apartment that sleeps two guests. The studio has its own terrace and outdoor furniture and inside there is an open plan sleeping/ kitchen area with a separate bathroom. The main house can be let with or without the studio but there will be additional charges incurred should you wish to book it.
