For a spot of history, venture out to Framlingham Castle a tremendous 12th century castle with a rich and diverse past of royalty and the revolt of 1173–1174. Further afield, is the charming city of Norwich, which boasts its grand and imposing Norwich Cathedral, an architectural staple in the city's scenery. The city also hosts the historic, Norwich Castle, now a museum, the castle offers a number fascinating exhibitions where you can learn about the ancient history of the area. You will not be left short for shops, pubs and restaurants in the city; enjoy a delicious meal at one of many eateries after wandering the quaint Elm Hill, a historical cobbled street which has been popular among visitors for its endearing character.
