Shanklin is one of the Isle of Wight s best known seaside resorts and it is home to a long sandy beach that extends north to neighbouring Sandown with its famous pier. Shanklin offers up shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés as well as several amusement features along the shore including crazy golf. Take a trip to Shanklin Chine, a cliff garden that winds up the hill at the south end of the beach. Plant and tree enthusiasts are in for a treat. The beach is a great place to build sandcastles, paddle, swim, and sunbathe when the sun is out. Shanklin has a railway station with connections up to the east coast to Ryde. Shanklin is also a travel hub for the public bus network, so you can reach all of the top visitor attractions and places of historical interest across the island. If you wish to leave your car at home or on the mainland, this is the ideal holiday home because you needn t feel limited to exploring Shanklin and Sandown. On arriving at the property, you will see that the ground floor mainly consists of a car garage. Ascending the stairs to the first floor you will pass through double doors into an airy living room that offers maximum comfort with its restful seating with a TV. There is also a balcony with table and chairs to sit out and enjoy the sea and downs views. Nearby is a delightful dining area with a table and seating for six diners accompanied by a Juliet balcony with more fantastic views. The superb fitted kitchen comes complete with everything you ll need for a self catering break including an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, coffee machine and a washing machine. There is also a WC on the first floor inside a spacious cloakroom. On the second floor, you will encounter the three bedrooms: two doubles, one with an en suite shower room with WC and a Juliet balcony and the other with a balcony; the third bedroom with a single, and a trundle bed suitable for a sixth guest. The bathroom is also on this floor and contains a shower over bath, and WC. Step outside the house on the first floor and you will find a lovely enclosed terrace with garden furniture. Off road parking is available for two cars (one on the driveway and one in the garage).
