A little further afield is Colwell Bay, offering The Hut, an ever-popular café and restaurant and Freshwater is also a short walk, with many local shops for you to browse. Alternatively, pack a picnic and take an exhilarating walk up Headon Warren to enjoy some of the island’s best views, especially at twilight when the sun is beginning to set.
