Tanglewinds, Benllech

Isle of Anglesey. Sleeps up to 6

Nestled on a quiet street in the seaside town of Benllech, is this charming two-storey bungalow adorned with a quirky pastel pink exterior, welcoming children and pets. Tanglewinds is an elegantly classic holiday stay boasting spectacular seaside views from the back garden and family-friendly features, a perfect base for a coastal getaway with the kids. The well-equipped kitchen greets you as you walk through the side entrance; fitted with traditional wooden features and amenities including a handy dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, it is a great space to whip up a delicious meal for your loved ones. Unwind in the antique-style sitting room, lounging on one of the floral chairs or cream leather sofa as you decide on a film on the large TV, or pick out a book to get lost in whilst sitting next to stunning seaside views out the window. The spacious dining area is a lovely space away from any distractions to relish in quality family time over good food and even better company. Freshen up in the ground-floor family bathroom, taking your pick from an invigorating morning shower or a low-key relaxing evening bubble bath. A ground-floor double bedroom is wonderfully appointed to the back of the property, benefiting from a traditional wooden cot for an extra little guest. Withdraw up the timber staircase fitted with handrails and a stairgate at the top, finding two attractive twin rooms underneath cosy dormer sloped ceilings, featuring gorgeous neutral tones and light windows. The garden area showcases a large verdant lawn, a pleasant area to take in the sunshine, however, be careful as the garden extends down a steep slope. Benllech is the perfect quiet seaside town for a classic family holiday, with plenty of shops, traditional pubs and beachside cafes all within a short walk from the property. Take a lovely stroll down to Benllech Beach, a gorgeous sandy haven where you can spend a fun day swimming, sunbathing and relaxing, but it sadly does not accept dogs, however, if you're feeling extra active, you can walk further past St. David’s Beach, across to Red Wharf bay towards LLanddona Beach and back for an Anglesey beach tour. Red Wharf Bay is a gorgeous area for trying out thrilling watersport activities within picturesque surroundings, try sailing at Traeth Coch Sailing Club, find your inner adrenaline junkie on the RibRide adventure boat tour, or discover a newfound skill at paddleboarding. Anglesey is a popular spot for tourists, boasting a selection of famous attractions including Beaumaris Castle, Anglesey Sea Zoo, Pili Palas Nature World, and Plas Newydd House and Gardens. Take your family to a peaceful holiday destination at Tanglewinds, mixing fun-filled activities with a relaxing seaside break.
