Hunter's Lodge at Talli Ho, Great Escapes Wales, Bodorgan

Isle of Anglesey. Sleeps up to 6

Recently renovated and offering all the comforts of home, Hunter's lodge is a delightful semi-detached stone cottage finished to a high standard. The owners have luxury as well as functionality in mind with all bedrooms having an adjoining bathroom or shower room. Ideal then, not just for families but also for friends looking to travel together. This cottage is all about comfortable living and you certainly won't be disappointed.

All on one level the living space here is sociable and open plan with a kitchen, dining area and sitting room all in one. There are two double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom and shower room respectively and a twin bedroom also with an ensuite shower room. Through the French doors and there is a patio area with furniture and a bbq, it’s easy to imagine yourself cooking on the bbq, with the kids playing nearby in complete safety on this private 20 acre small holding, with a glass of wine in hand, utterly relaxed!

Hunter’s Lodge is a barn conversion and together with The Stables would make a great location for a large group letting both cottages. The houses are located next to the owners own, small, private campsite where all the facilities are available to the guests too. The owners go to great lengths to make sure you are happy here and we’re sure you will be! They offer pony rides, there is a communal campfire for toasting marshmallows! Fresh eggs are available to buy from the farmhouse and even a sandpit and play area for the kids. Laundry services are available too if you don’t want to do your own washing. If you can bring yourself away from this rural idyll there is much to do beyond the gates of Talli Ho too. Nearby is one of the most stunning beaches in all of North Wales, Newborough beach and Llandwyn Island. Newborough forest makes for great exploring too with paths weaving in and out of the pine trees, a popular jaunt for tourist and locals alike. Rhosneigr is close by too where there is every conceivable water sport available, the beach there is famed for kite surfing and is one of the best locations in the UK to do it. The best part about the location at Hunter’s Lodge is that you can feel a million miles from anywhere and yet be roughly 20 minutes from any coastal part of Anglesey, opening up the opportunity for trips to Beaumaris a delightful Georgian coastal town overlooking the Snowdonia mountain range, Moelfre the prettiest postcard village on the island and if you fancy a bit of retail therapy, the university city of Bangor is easily reached within 25 minutes.
