Newlands Cottage was fully refurbished in 2019 and has two bedrooms on the first floor, the master has double bed and the second a single. The main bathroom is located on this floor with a large open shower. The third bedroom is on the second floor, and due to its location in the attic there is slight restricted height space, the tallest point in the room is 170cm. Downstairs is a cloakroom with a toilet and an open plan living space.
Water sports or cruises on the lakes, mountain climbing in the Langdales and coastal walks on the Cumbrian Coastal Way are just a few of the many activities to be enjoyed in the area. There is a plethora of historic houses and gardens with Sizergh Castle, Levens Hall and Cartmel, 12th-century priory, all a short drive away.
