Located between the Lake District and the Northern Pennines, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this traditional cottage will provide the perfect accommodation for a small family or a group of friends in need of a countryside holiday at any time of year. Pea Top Cottage is set all on the ground floor, with ramped access to the front door, and once you step inside you’ll find all you need for a comfortable and relaxing break away. Inside, there is an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area, a bathroom, super king-size double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Outside, there is a front patio ideal to relax with a good book and a refreshing drink, whilst guests are also welcome to visit the owners’ paddock to admire their hens. Whether it’s boating, yachting, mountain walking or cycling that you love to do, this cottage is the perfect base from which to indulge in your favourite outdoor activity. You can also tour the gorgeous Eden Valley and hop on board the Settle - Carlisle Railway, or travel over to the Lake District to visit splendid villages such as Pooley Bridge, where you can ride the Ullswater Steamer and cruise gently down Ullswater Lake. The ancient market town of Appleby-in-Westmorland is also highly recommended, with its quaint cobbled streets, boutique shops and charming tea rooms just waiting to be explored.
