Its close proximity to Kinder Scout, the Pennine Way and Sett Valley Trail means that a vast selection of walking is available direct from the door suitable for all abilities. When its time to venture further afield, other wonderful Peak District towns and villages are within easy reach. The picturesque market town of Glossop is just a 10-minute drive, and Edale, Castleton and the Hope Valley are just 20 minutes. The spa town of Buxton is also just 20 minutes away, and the ever popular town of Bakewell and the magnificent historic houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are around a half hour drive. Shop 175 yards, pub and restaurant 65 yards.
