Next to the owner’s home, this spacious detached property is ideal for couples looking for a romantic retreat. On the ground floor there is a modern kitchen with large dining table, a utility room and a cloakroom. Step down a few steps into the very roomy and tastefully furnished sitting room. It’s a lovely place to snuggle up together and watch a movie however there’s a large comfy sofa each if you fancy some alone time. On the first floor is a double en-suite bedroom which is tastefully furnished and enjoys oodles of space. From here there’s a door out to a large roof terrace leading on to a raised decked area with patio furniture. This is a fantastic place to sit and watch the sun set with uninterrupted views to the pasture and woods adjoining the garden. There are fantastic walks straight from the door and there’s a paddock for exercising your canine friend if they’re not already worn out from a good day’s walk. With something always going on in nearby Chatsworth, Bakewell, Matlock and Matlock Bath, this is a great base for exploring everything this beautiful part of the world has to offer.
