Shower room: With shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.. Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and gas barbecue. Woodland grounds (shared with one other pod on-site). Coarse fishing on-site. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a spring and there are unfenced lakes on-site.. If you are looking for something a little bit different, these two pods (refs UK12296 and UK12297) offer good accommodation with great views. Set on one level, they enjoy an attractive patio area to the front with rattan furniture and a gas barbecue. They lie within the owners’ 630-acre farm, where there are coarse lakes for fishing, as well as lakeside walks along footpaths. There is also a mobile spa available, destress with a facial or massage in the comfort of your own pod (please contact the owner for further details).
The location itself is quiet and offers guests the perfect spot in which to relax and unwind. Aconbury Pods offer guests the best of both worlds, with the city of Hereford just 4 miles away with an array of bars, shops and restaurants. A visit to Hereford Cathedral, built in 1079, is a must. Steeped in history, it houses the Mappa Mundi, a medieval map of the world, as well as the chained library. There are plenty of museums in Hereford, including the Black and White House Museum and the Waterworks Museum.
Ross-on-Wye is 11 miles from the property, Goodrich Castle is definitely worth a visit, and for those more adventurous, canoeing on the River Wye is available. Ledbury and Monmouth are also within easy driving distance, and have many attractions for guests both young and old alike. Shop 3 miles, pub 1½ miles and restaurant 3½ miles.
