Doors from the kitchen lead to the rear private courtyard garden which comes complete with furniture and BBQ, perfect for enjoying the delights of alfresco dining on a summer's evening. The shared, landscaped gardens offer different seating areas which are ideal for enjoying the quiet tranquillity of the area with a book or a picnic. Why not take a stroll to the river ferry, cross the River Wye and enjoy a refreshing drink in the pub on the opposite bank? Many fabulous walks and cycle trails can be enjoyed from the doorstep of the cottage, or try your hand at one of the many outdoor activities on offer in the Forest of Dean and on the River Wye.
