This is a lovely holiday home for a family looking for a seaside spot or a fabulous winter weekend away. On the ground floor is a stylish open plan living space with two sets of French doors leading out onto a colourful, fully enclosed decked patio. The master bedroom has glass apex windows and a small balcony with views down to the sea. There is a single bedroom ideal for anyone who prefers their own space, and on the middle floor are two bedrooms and the family bathroom. Downderry is a super little village and has everything you need including a couple of pubs, restaurant, a vegan café and a village shop.

The property is ideal for families with children looking for a lovely, summer beach holiday, whilst also being warm and cosy in the winter months with heating supplied by ground source heating. Two dogs are welcome and the beach at Downderry is dog friendly throughout the year. Heading west along the coast is Looe, a popular fishing village with a sandy beach, pubs, cafés and shops. Here, you can also fish, go crabbing or take a boat trip from the quay. Enjoy a traditional Cornish cream tea overlooking the sea at Talland Bay or explore Polperro, with its narrow streets and pretty cottages nestled around the harbour. East from Downderry is the coastal road to Rame Head with spectacular views overlooking Whitsand Bay, a 5-mile stretch of sand and rocks. Golf, horse riding and fishing are also available nearby.

Downderry is a very popular location for families and couples throughout the year and is just 5 miles from the stunning Whitsand Bay. Stylish Kingsand and Cawsand are just 8 miles away. The Monkey Sanctuary is located just along the coast and is a great day out, or visit the car-free village of Polperro and take a horse and cart ride down to the harbour. Adrenaline Quarry Adventure Park is also close by and well worth a visit. Beach ¼ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
