Take yourself off for a quiet read under the natural light, or better still, open the doors out onto the terrace and feel that fresh coastal breeze drifting through. Use the second sitting room in your down time, for snuggling in front of the glowing woodburner or choosing a board game and getting competitive with the family around the dining table. Upstairs, find the spacious master kig-size bedroom and another king-size double room. The family bathroom occupies a deep-soaking bath tub and hand-held shower for you to indulge after a long day exploring. Use the outdoor space for family picnics on the lawn and alfresco dining on the sun deck. Marvel at the stunning views across the greenery towards the sea in the distance and let the kids get lost in their imagination, as you watch on by with a refreshing beverage. Goleen is a charming little village on the south-western tip of Ireland, offering a few pubs, shops and other convenient amenities you might require during your stay. Take a day trip to explore the Blue Flag beach at Barley Cove and the visitor centre at Mizen Head. There is also golf nearby, as well as horse riding, walking, angling and birdwatching. Further afield, you can discover the delights of Skibbereen, with its shops, restaurants and pubs, along with the West Cork Arts Centre and Skibbereen Heritage Centre.
