Goleen is a charming little village on the south-western tip of Ireland, offering a few pubs, shops and other convenient amenities you might require during your stay. Take a day trip to explore the Blue Flag beach at Barley Cove and the visitor centre at Mizen Head. There is also golf nearby, as well as horse riding, walking, angling and birdwatching. Further afield, you can discover the delights of Skibbereen, with its shops, restaurants and pubs, along with the West Cork Arts Centre and Skibbereen Heritage Centre.
