This is an ideal base for families and friends to make the most of this fantastic city. This lovely, ground floor semi-detached house is set back from the main road with natural, enclosed, front and rear gardens. The living/dining room has an open fire and sofas and there is a second, cosy sitting room looking out to the back garden. The galley kitchen is well organised and the bedrooms are comfortable.

There is a regular bus service into the city centre, or it is a 30-minute drive to glorious, sandy Gullane beach and the renowned East Lothian golf courses. Take time to visit the astonishing Palace of Holyrood, the Royal Yacht Britannia, Edinburgh Castle and the zoo. Between times, explore the cobbled streets and wynds around the Old Town and Royal Mile, where there is often street entertainment and a wide range of pubs and restaurants. Join in the fun during the Edinburgh Festival in August when every possible venue is bursting with music, drama and dance. Beach 2½ miles. Shop ¾ miles, pub ½ mile and restaurant ¼ mile.
