Private parking for 10 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced lake in the grounds.. This charming terraced cottage is located within the central courtyard of Graythwaite Estate, near the Lake District village of Hawkshead. This lovely property is a perfect choice for a relaxing break with the family in a superb central Lakeland position. On the ground floor there is a living room with a cosy wood burner, and a contemporary kitchen/dining room. There are three bedrooms, one with en-suite facilities, and a shower room on the first floor. The Briar also benefits from a private patio where you can sit in the evening and take in the local scenery.

Guests can enjoy use of the on-site facilities which include an indoor heated swimming pool with a hot tub, gym, table tennis room or explore the 5000 acres of grounds with a children’s play area and trout fishing lake. There are also a range of activities available (on request, by arrangement). There are plenty of walking and cycle routes to enjoy for all capabilities at Grizedale Forest, with many more attractions around Lake Windermere, Bowness and Ambleside. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles. These properties can be booked together to accommodate upto 24 guests.
