Osprey Lodge is on the fringe of the northern part of the Lake District National Park and set within a small campsite. This detached lodge looks across open meadows and towards the Solway Coast. The lodge has been presented to a very good standard, with an open plan living space with large comfortable sofa and wood burner, a kitchen area with everything you should need, including a dishwasher, and a choice of whether to dine inside or al fresco on the balcony to take in the views. The double bedroom has a comfortable kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room. Recline in the bubbling waters of the hot tub, unwind in front of the warm fire or lie down on the sumptuous bed, whatever you choose, you will enjoy your stay.
The grounds of Wallace Lane Farm extend to unspoilt 23 acres of meadows and stunning views, perfect to take an evening stroll or early morning walk before breakfast. Nearby Calbeck Fells are famous for adventure and beauty, whilst a little further and you are in the Lake District town of Keswick, a haven for walkers and shoppers alike. The Solway Coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, overlooking the Scottish hills, and is perfect for bird spotting or enjoying an ice cream. Beach 17 miles. Shop and restaurant 5 miles, pub 5½ miles.
