The village of Hawkshead, with its shops, pubs, and interesting historic buildings, is just 1.5 miles from the apartment, and makes a lovely place to while away an afternoon. This apartment is situated on the ground floor of the owner s home, whilst still providing guest with a high level of privacy. Guests enter the property via the porch which makes a handy place to leave muddy boots before continuing inside to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its lovely countryside views.
