House in South Cornwall, Charlestown

Cornwall. Sleeps up to 8

This contemporary, property is located at the heart of the village of Charlestown, famous for its Georgian port and more recently as the location for the TV series Poldark. The village is a fine example of a Georgian harbour with the South West coastal path passing through, and maintains a small fleet of tall ships, as well as an interesting shipwreck museum. The location could not be better for exploring this area of south Cornwall, as the town of St Austell with its shops and supermarkets is just a ten minute drive away, as is The Eden Project. For those wishing to explore the coast, the attractive seaside towns of Fowey and Mevagissey are both within a 30 minute drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are another attraction close by to the property or why not take a trip to the National Trust property of Lanhydrcok which has rental bikes and good cycle trails; only 20 minutes away. As soon as you enter this three storey property, you will feel immediately relaxed. The ground floor is home to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner leading on to the conservatory which is perfect for enjoying some family time, either relaxing in front of the smart TV in the lounge area or enjoying a meal together at the large, extendable dining table. The sleek kitchen has everything you will need to enjoy your stay including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. To the first floor, guests will find two of the four bedrooms, both of which have double beds, each with its own en suite shower room. One of these rooms also benefits from its own TV. The further two bedrooms are located on the second floor and comprise of zip and link super king size beds which can be made up as twins should you so wish. (Please request this at time of booking). These rooms are also both en suite, each with its own shower and WC and one with TV. An additional cloakroom with WC can be found on the ground floor. Outside the property benefits from small enclosed gardens to both the front and rear of the property, the rear being the main outdoor space, with its decked area and outdoor furniture. There is off road parking for two cars, as well as a space for one more additional car.
