There are beautiful beaches nearby, fishing and many opportunities for watersports. The area is a paradise for cyclists and walkers and there are fabulous activities available within 8 - 30 minutes’ drive such as a boat trip to the glorious Saltee Islands, angling trips, a visit to Ireland’s most haunted house Loftus Hall, Hook Lighthouse, Tintern Abbey, JF Kennedy Park, Dunbrody Famine Ship, Johnstown Castle, National Heritage Park, Kelly’s Hotel Rosslare Strand, Kilmore Quay, Ballycross Apple Farm to name but a few. Wexford town is a delight for a few hours of retail therapy. Excellent gastro pubs, award-winning coffee shops and exceptional restaurants are within an 8 - 15 minute drive.
