A 10-minute stroll takes you to a beautiful secluded cove, just one of 14 sandy bays in the area, whilst on site, amongst the well kept manicured grounds, there are tennis and soccer courts, two children’s playgrounds and picnic areas with barbecues for al fresco dining. Interesting places to visit nearby are Loftus Hall, reputedly Ireland’s most haunted house, which offers guided walks and holds themed nights such as tapas/wine, and the fabulous Hook Lighthouse, the world’s oldest and ’flashiest’ operational lighthouse, both within a 5-minute drive or a leisurely scenic coastal walk away.
