The airy living/dining room offers plenty of comfort for all, with large patio doors opening onto the rear riverside terrace, which overlooks the River Gowan flowing past directly under the terrace. Three very comfortable bedrooms offer views of the surrounding countryside, and there is a family bathroom along with the additional benefit of a downstairs toilet. Outside, a further enclosed garden to the front can be found, along with a parking space and a garage for storing your bikes during your stay.
Hawkshead Brewery is just a short stroll away, so take advantage of being able to taste their beers and leave the car at home. You can enjoy breakfast at one of the village’s cafés, again within easy walking distance, and a great way to start off the day. The bustling town centre of Kendal is just 10 minutes’ drive, and a little further you are in the beautiful central Lake District where you can taste Grasmere gingerbread, take a cruise on Lake Windermere or simply get out and walk some of Lakeland’s finest fells. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
