Lawned garden with patio and garden furniture. Fishing on-site (licence required). Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced river in the grounds, 220 yards away. . This lovely wooden lodge is located in a riverside location and is ideal for guests who enjoy fishing as the property has fishing rights to the River Wye, with salmon and trout, and coarse fishing too (licence required). There are plenty of walks from the lodge and the Brecon Beacons is a 30-minute drive. The Royal Welsh Showground is only 5 miles and there is a great golf course 4 miles from the property in Builth Wells. The Elan Valley is a 30-minute drive where you will find many walking and cycling trails and an abundance of wildlife. Red kites are found in the Elan Valley and there is a feeding station nearby. Ferry Lodge is also on the National Cycle Network and offers plenty of lanes and hills for those interested in mountain biking. Builth wells offers a cinema, golf course, swimming pool and plenty of shops and restaurants. Ferry Lodge is in the perfect place to relax and listen to the wildlife and the river flowing by whilst watching the sun go down. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
Ferry Lodge can be booked together with Edw Lodge (UK10129) and Cider Barn (UK10130) to accommodate up to 14 guests.
