Meadow Malt House sleeps 4/5 guests in two bedrooms. This pretty cottage is tucked away in a beautiful green valley in the very peaceful hamlet of Llanfihangel Nant Bran 3 miles from Sennybridge and 9 miles from Brecon.

Surrounded by incredible views, a huge variety of good walks and some fabulous wildlife. Meadow Malt House is a converted Malt House - where they used to brew the beer and dates from the 17th century original old malthouse. Now the cottages offers comfortable accommodation with much of the soft furnishings made by the owner.

This cottage is perfect for children with a gorgeous, family-friendly garden and although the owners would like to avoid pets in the house, grazing and stabling is available if you would like to bring your own horse.

Situated on a working family farm there is the opportunity to meet with some of the friendly locals animals - Toffee the Shetland Pony, Misty and Bengo the children's ponies and not fogettting Winky, the matriach of the sheep flock.

If you need any further accommodation is available at Meadow View Granary, a just a few yards up the (very tidy yard) which can sleep an additional 5 people.

The Malt House has a kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.

A utility room with a washing machine.

The open plan sitting / dining room has a comfortable cream leather sofa and chairs and a dining table.

There is a TV with Sky, DVD and CD player.

Downstairs: cloakroom with toilet and handbasin.

Bedroom 2: A bedroom with twin beds and a TV - room for an extra third bed if needed.

There is a spacious bathroom with large power shower, handbasin, toilet and bath.

There is a pretty and enclosed garden across the court yard that is shared between the two cottages - with a little slide for small children. Table and chairs and a BBQ.

Located in the heart of a lush, sleepy valley

Meadow Malt House is situated in a peaceful hamlet of Llanfihangel Nant Bran within a secluded and lush green valley. Explore the valley via the numerous walks available from your door or enjoy a glass of wine out in the lovely enclosed garden and watch Red Kites swoop overhead while the children enjoy a mini-beast quest for beetles, moths and other wildlife among the plants.

Your horse or pony is welcome too

Lush fields surround Meadow Malt House and stabling is available. The owners of the cottage are more than happy for visitors to bring their horse or pony with them - please call to discuss this. There is superb riding straight from the door - what a wonderful way to explore the Beacons whilst saving on those horse-sitting/livery fees!

Further accommodation available in the village

Meadow Malt House has two bedrooms, a double and a twin room that can accommodate a third single bed. However, if you have a party of more than 5 then you may be interested to hear that Meadow View Granary is just up the road within Llanfihangel Nant Bran and can accommodate a further 5 people. The ideal set up for two families looking to holiday together but maintain some private space, or perhaps the grandparents would enjoy the charming accommodation at the Granary?

Pentrebach (with the wonderful Shoemakers Arms pub) 3 miles, Sennybridge 4 miles, Brecon 9 miles.
