Crud-yr-Awel is a self catering holiday cottage, situated only a minute's walk from the centre of the pretty Award Winning small Georgian market town of Crickhowell. Just a couple of minutes walk away from the famous Bear Hotel and restaurant.

The cottage is very adaptable and is warm and welcoming whatever your party make-up. This is a great cottage to stay for visitors without a car - Crickhowell hosts a Walking Festival and with all The Black Mountains there are great walks from the town up to The Sugar Loaf Mountain, The Blorenge, Table Mountain and over to Llangattock Mountain - just across the valley.

You will be spoilt for choice in Crickhowell with the many excellent gastro-pubs, bistro's and restaurants and attractive locally owned shops. No need to drive to get the morning paper - a quick stroll for a coffee or visit Webbs a wonderful family run business that sells everything except food! Walk down to the River Usk or have mountain bikes delivered to the door.

Cottage accommodation

Sleeps 3/5, 2 bedrooms. Very well equipped kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, washing machine and fridge/ freezer. Entrance porch for boots and shoes. A comfortable and warm sitting room with two-seater settees and a double sofa bed, gas coal effect stove, CD player, radio and Freesat TV with DVD. Dining table and chairs.

Upstairs to

Bedroom 1: a double bedroom

Bedroom 2: with bunk beds (the top bunk is full size single, below is a sofa which converts to a slightly shorter than standard double bed if required).

Bathroom has bath with shower over, handbasin and toilet.
