The sitting room boasts a charming woodburner set within the inglenook, and mullioned windows are filled with green landscape scenery from outside. This village is made up of traditional stone-built cottages, and a small high street with shops, cafes, and several excellent pubs serving food and real ale, all with the River Ryburn flowing gently through the centre. Nearby, Hedben Bridge is a diverse town with restaurants, bars, art galleries and the Rochdale Canal.
