Upstairs, the king-size bedroom is where you will want to be, relaxing under the contemporary skylight windows, amidst front-facing views which invite the glorious outside in. Summery bedding, a dressing table, and a wardrobe all add to the heart-warming ambience. Be at one with the location however you choose, the centre of the village is the green, a post office and village store, St John’s church and the village hall, all are nearby. The C2C cycle route passes through the village. At Ashgillside and Beldy there are waterfalls namely Ashgill Force and Thortergill Force, and the Pennine Way passes through the village on its way from Dufton via Cross Fell, Great Dun Fell and on to Alston. A unique part of Cumbria not to be missed.
