This is an ideal location for exploring the National Park, with a number of walking routes just minutes away. It's just a couple of miles to the market town of Keswick, where you can see local artefacts at the museum or get active at Keswick Climbing Wall. If leisurely walks are the order of the day, Castlerigg Stone Circle is close at hand, as is High and Low Rigg. For something a little more challenging, climb Blencathra or Helvellyn and enjoy the spectacular views from the top.
