Sleeping up to 5 people in two generously sized bedrooms, each with en-suite, Ty Bryn offers stylish and comfortable accommodation in a rural, elevated position. Situated on a quiet sheep farm just 6 miles from Brecon, Ty Bryn is a great spot from which to explore the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains. Short, pleasant walks lead to local pubs in the surrounding hamlets and Llangorse Lake with its multitude of outdoor activities is just 4 miles away.

Step into the spacious and bright entrance hall at Ty Bryn and you are greeted with views into the open plan kitchen/diner through the original beams of the old cow shed. The kitchen is spacious and contemporary with slate floors, ivory, shaker-style units and attractive walnut worktops. There is an electric double oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. The dining area has a good sized table and seats 6. To the right of the entrance hall is a sunny sitting room with glass doors to the front and rear of the property which flood the room with light. There is an attractive woodburning stove in a stone fireplace, comfortable sofas and chairs, a flat screen TV with Freeview, and DVD player. Also on the ground floor and off the entrance hall is a useful cupboard with plenty of space for coats and boots, as well as a spacious cloakroom with toilet, handbasin and washing machine.

Up a wide flight of wooden stairs to a bright landing with a feature light and window, giving views to the garden at the front of the property.

Bedroom 1: Has a king-sized bed and a single bed and is furnished with a chest of drawers and hanging space. The roof window gives lovely views to the garden at the front of the property.

The en-suite has a bath with shower over, toilet, handbasin and towel rail.

Bedroom 2: Is a dual aspect with pretty views of the gardens to the front of the property and the rolling countryside to the rear. It has a king-sized bed, hanging rail, and chest of drawers.

A stunning conversion

With its traditional stone walls, slate roof and hard wood windows, Ty Bryn is a very attractive conversion of a former cattle shed. Inside it's even more impressive. Huge, character beams feature in every room, with both bedrooms boasting A-frame, pegged cross beams. The conversion has been sympathetically completed with beautiful oak floors throughout, slate tiling and lovely doors and woodwork. Fitted around the attractive structure are the modern conveniences that make this a relaxing and comfortable home for your holiday. Underfloor heating, contemporary bathrooms, a kitchen with everything you need, tasteful furniture and a pretty woodburner are the icing on the cake at Ty Bryn.

Panoramic views

Ty Bryn would make a wonderful base for a landscape artist or photography to holiday. The incredible views take in the dramatic Brecon Beacons to the east, the Black Mountains and Hay Bluff to the west and picturesque rolling farmland to the north and south. Plenty of windows and doors to the gardens ensure that not only is this a light, bright space, but every room enjoys those incredible views. Grab a drink and go through the glass door in the sitting room to sit on the flagstone terrace to the rear of the barn - the perfect place to watch the sun set over the Brecon Beacons.

A walking enthusiast's paradise

Criss-crossed by footpaths, bridleways and green lanes, Ty Bryn offers opportunities to explore in all directions. A short walk of just 10 or 15 minutes brings you to the hamlet of Llanfihangel Tal-y-Llyn with it's friendly pub. Other walks would led to Llanwern, with its picturesque 14th century church and Llangorse Lake beyond.

Farm location

Pentwyn is a quiet farm of around 200 sheep. It sits in an elevated position with panoramic views of the stunning mountain ranges of this region. Some 1.5 miles from the nearest small hamlet of Llanwern, visitors to Pentywn will enjoy the peace and tranquility that this location brings. With no near neighbours, save for the farmhouse, Ty Bryn offers a real escape from busy lives.
