A detached farmhouse, set on the hillside, offering fantastic views along the valley and with the dramatic Black Mountains visible all around. This former farmhouse has the original oak beams, a large traditional beamed fireplace and handmade oak doors and wooden floors throughout. The barns surrounding the farmhouse are used for sheep shearing and other farmwork on this busy working hill farm - expect sheep for neighbours!

This is the perfect location for the more energetic, there are superb walks available from the doorstep - The Beacons Way and many footpaths in the Black Mountains. The nearest village is about 1.5 miles away and has a cafe, small shop and garage.

Cottage accommodation - Sleeping 4/5 - 2 Bedrooms - 1 Groundfloor room with Sofa Bed

An entrance porch leads into the main open plan spacious sitting room with dining room at one end. Two large sofas and a woodburning stove make this a warm and cosy room. It is also home to the dining table and chairs and large flat screen colour Freeview TV and DVD. The kitchen is very well equipped with an electric halogen hob, double oven and grill, dishwasher, fridge, plenty of cupboards and good work surfaces. The utility room houses a freezer, washing machine and has plenty of room for storing walking boots etc.

There is a separate downstairs room which has a good quality sofabed in, this could be very useful for someone who is maybe less able, as there is a downstairs shower room next door.

This downstairs shower room - has a double power shower, toilet, and wash hand basin and heated towel rail, beautifully tiled and excellent quality throughout.

Enclosed garden with patio area for sitting outside with garden furniture and a barbeque, delightful views of the hills and the whole valley opening up before you.

Upstairs to two bedrooms:

Bedroom 1: A bedroom with twin beds.

Bedroom 2: A bedroom with a King Size bed.

There is a wooden oak staircase and oak floors throughout the upstairs level.

The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, toilet and wash handbasin and heated towel rail.
