Not only that, you are in the shadow of one of the highest and most impressive fells in The Lake District National Park, Blencathra. One of six identical timber micro-lodges on a working beef and sheep farm, perched on the lower slopes of Blencathra you’ll benefit from some great walking and cycling routes and amazing panoramic views across the countryside.
This brand new detached timber pod, sited in 2018, offers the latest in micro-lodge technology. Featuring everything you need for a comfortable stay you’ll remember this timber pod for all the right reasons. The pod is a world apart from your typical ‘glamping-pod’. With underfloor heating and a full-sized double bed you can be sure of a good night’s sleep. It features a fully fitted kitchen with ample storage so you can cook up a feast after a long day of exploration. The micro-lodge is great fun and even comes with a dining table for four, a TV with Freeview channels so you can relax with a board game after a nice meal, and it even has a private outdoor area with a bench for soaking up the afternoon sun while you sit, read, relax and watch the wildlife. The pod can also accommodate up to four people so they are perfect for families. Think of it as much more exciting than bricks and mortar!
Lowside Farm Lodges are situated just off the A66 which is the main route that cuts through Cumbria, from Penrith in the east and continuing to the west coast. There is easy access to all of the Northern Lake District Fells and much of the stunning scenery this part of the world has to offer. The popular town of Keswick is just 6½ miles away with an abundance of bars, shops, restaurants and nightlife as well as some great tourist attractions and a local market. Shop 3 miles, pub ¾ mile and restaurant 2½ miles.
Lea Field Lodge can be booked together with Lambrigg Lodge (ref UK1306), Swallow Bank Lodge (ref UK1307), Holly Tree Lodge (ref UK1308), Coombe Beck Lodge (ref UK1309) and Bluebell Lodge (ref UK1311) to accommodate up to 24 guests.
