Its position is quite rural, with a wealth of walks available nearby including the Mortimer Trail. However, you can still easily reach many of the local attractions, and with it being on the borders of Herefordshire and Shropshire you will be within easy access into Wales and Gloucestershire. Many places of interest include the cathedral, Mappa Mundi, cider museums, black and white village trails, the River Wye, canoeing and Oaker Wood leisure. There are also working farm museums, glider centre, Shropshire hills, world famous towns such as Ludlow and Ironbridge and several National Trust properties. Many historic houses are nearby for you to visit including Cwmmau Farmhouse, Croft Castle, Brockhampton and Berrington Hall and the Weir Garden. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
