The three bridges over the Forth into Fife make it easy to explore the villages of the East Neuk and St Andrews, or to go to Perth, Stirling and Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. South Queensferry has an enviable choice of good restaurants, pubs, interesting shops and there are boat trips to Inchcolm Island giving fascinating views of the bridges.
