Situated just 6 miles from St Mawes, they are 1 mile from a golden sandy beach and a short drive from many other beautiful beaches. Although completely self-contained, they may be booked together. The renowned Philliegh Cookery School is close by and a great experience. This idyllic part of south Cornwall has much to offer visitors, including a picturesque coastal walk leading to St Anthony Head, with its superb views of Falmouth and the Black Rock. St Mawes itself abounds with restaurants, pubs and shops, and its clover-leaf shaped castle, built by Henry VIII, is well worth a visit. In summer there are boat trips up the river, passing through beautiful wooded creeks. There is a 2-acre paddock available for guests to use, ideal for ball games and dog exercising. Shops 6 miles, pub, the famous Roseland Inn, ½ mile.
The Long Barn (GW2) and The Granary (GW3) can be booked together to accommodate up to 6 guests.
