Red Kite Stable Cottage, Brecon

Brecon Beacons. Sleeps up to 5

This is a comfortable cottage with panoramic views to the Brecon Beacons situated on the same farm as Pentwyn Barn and Pentwyn Farmhouse, thus if the cottages are all booked together for a family re-union or a party it will sleep 19/20 people. There is sufficient space for everyone to be able to eat in the Barn.

Visitors are welcome to see the animals and during March and April see the new born lambs.

Enjoy the use of the Hot Tub and a wonderful outside play area for children with a slide and swings.

Accommodation

Sleeps 5, 2 bedrooms.

There is a large attractive kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, a freezer and a washing machine; a large country dining table and chairs. Downstairs cloakroom with handbasin and toilet. There is a spacious sitting room with comfortable sofas, SKY, TV and DVD. Wifi available. Lovely views across the valley to the rolling hills dotted with sheep and horses peacefully grazing and down the valley and across to the ancient hanging oak woodland. A patio door leads out of the kitchen to the spacious lawned garden.

There is a spare "camp bed" bed if needed for an extra guest.

Upstairs to

Bedroom 1: A spacious family bedroom with a double bed and a single bed.

Bedroom 2: Has a double bed.

The bathroom: Has a bath with a shower over, handbasin and toilet.

There is a passage in the kitchen and up a few steps is a door that will lead into Pentwyn Farmhouse. If both properties are used together they will inter-link.

Excellent walking - The house is along the Yscir Fechan Valley and approximately 10 miles from Brecon and 9 miles from Builth Wells. There are miles of uninterrupted countryside for walking, mountain biking or horse riding right from the door. The Mynydd Epynt an upland moor with wild ponies and sheep grazing, is a short walk away and The Epynt Way a 40 mile long circular permissive path, passes within a few minutes of the house.

Beautiful area - This is a beautiful area of Breconshire, and has a large population of red kites. The record number spotted hunting nearby by guests so far is 9. You are assured of a warm welcome with many guests enjoying learning and observing what happens on a farm through the different seasons.
