Seacroft is nestled at the mouth of Nostie Burn on the shores of Lochalsh. It is an ideal location and base for exploring all the delights of Wester Ross. Only 6 miles from the railway station of Kyle where there are ample shops and supermarkets as well as banks and the local swimming pool. From Kyle you can take the Skye Bridge over to the Isle of Skye and with lovely views of the majestic Cuillen Hills. The seaside village of Plockton is only a few miles further on with its palm trees and roving highland cattle. Also we are only 2.5 miles from the famous Eilean Donan Castle at Dornie. From there you can travel up the length of Loch Duich and then take the old Military road over to Glenelg. The views and tranquillity of the shores of Lochalsh are breathtaking and there are endless opportunities for all sorts of outdoor pursuits including hill walking, horse riding, bird watching, mountain biking and many more. From the window we can see some of the Five Sisters of Kintail.
Located in Kyle, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Giant MacAskill Musuem and Museum of the Isles are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Eilean Donan Castle and Loch Carron. Magpie and Isle of Skye Market Square are also worth visiting. Sailing and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and horse riding nearby.
