It is located on a five acre small holding encompassing two lakes in the scenic Gwendraeth Valley. Imagine awaking each morning with views out over the lake and the wooded hillside beyond, and in an evening, you may enjoy a glass of wine in your own hot tub on the raised decking area. Relax here and watch the sun set after a warm summer’s day. The lodge has been thoughtfully furnished to a very good standard and offers floor to ceiling windows to the make the most of the views. The mezzanine master bedroom overlooks the lake where you can watch the resident swans. The property is centrally located and ideal to explore one of Wales’ top attractions, Pembrey Country Park with its many footpaths, 8 miles of golden sandy beach, 550 acres of woodlands, dri-ski slope and the longest toboggan run in Wales. A trip to Carmarthenshire is not complete without a visit to Laugharne, which was formerly home to famous Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, who described the charming village as ‘the strangest town in Wales’. A 40-minute drive and you can visit the stunning Gower Peninsula which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and definitely worth a visit, or travelling west, Oakwood, Folly Farm and the famous walled town of Tenby.
