The town is perhaps better known for hosting the International Music Eisteddfod in the summer, where thousands of visitors flock every July, but even if visiting out of season there is no shortage of things to do. Visit the home of the ’Ladies of Llangollen’, Plas Newydd, one of Wales’ famous tourist attractions. Children can experience life as a Victorian and be subjected to a lesson by Victorian schoolmasters at ’The Victorian School and Museum’.
