The Loft, originally the hayloft in the converted cow shed, is an attractive first floor holiday apartment, ideal for a couple who wish to explore mid-Wales and the array of visitor attractions nearby. Lying peacefully in a rural location and just a stone’s throw away from the dramatic Ceredigion coastline, The Loft is set across from three other traditional Welsh holiday barns, and has been sympathetically restored to a very good standard. It has been tastefully decorated throughout and equipped with all the appropriate amenities for an unforgettable experience. There is a shared garden where guests can sit, relax and unwind whilst watching the red kites soar over the magnificent scenery, or enjoy the wildlife beyond the garden in the woodlands, fields and pond areas.

The area itself has lots to offer, including fantastic walks along the 60 miles of Ceredigion coastline, famous for its horseshoe coves, Iron Age settlements and sandy beaches, where on a clear day, bottlenose dolphins and seals can be seen. The picturesque and colourful harbour towns of New Quay and Aberaeron offer unblemished beaches, restaurants, boutique shopping and art galleries that are waiting to be explored. Away from the coast, Ceredigion’s countryside is just as promising, with an array of charming market towns and historic castles dotted around the county. For an adventurous day out, take a short drive to the rugged Cambrian Mountains and explore the Cors Caron Nature Reserve, which flourishes with wildlife and the historic ruins of Strata Florida Abbey, which is one of Wales’ most important historical sites. Beach 2½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
