Mill View is the most delightfully situated holiday home in tranquil surroundings, and yet just over a mile from the beautiful beach, and small village of Llangrannog on the Ceredigion coast. This very comfortably appointed, semi-detached bungalow has been thoughtfully prepared for guests. It offers central heating and a wood burning stove for cosy nights by the fire, and a private patio garden with a large gazebo for enjoying drinks and meals al-fresco style, whilst listening to the babbling River Hawen, which can be seen beyond the garden fence.
Formal dining is available in the lounge/dining room and the kitchen, which has direct access to the patio, and also offers a breakfast table.
If you enjoy walking, then this is the place for you. Directly from the front door, there are woodland pathways and country lanes. From Llangrannog, you can join the Ceredigion Coastal Path; 63 miles to enjoy spotting the wildlife, dolphins and seals, as well as pretty wildflowers. Whatever the time of year, Llangrannog itself will charm you with its sandy beach, little shops, pubs and cafés.
Ceredigion, dating back over 1600 years, and the Heritage Coastline is a distinctive Welsh region with a thriving cultural identity, and the perfect area for a holiday, with award-winning sandy beaches, coves (many are dog friendly all year round) and cliffs.
Visit the picture postcard coves at Penbryn, Tresaith, Aberporth and Cwmtydu, or the colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron, with chic shopping and restaurants. Also visit quaint New Quay, once home to poet Dylan Thomas, and from where you can take a boat trip, and Cardigan, a lively traditional town with a castle, situated on the Teifi Estuary. Finally, Aberystwyth is a must, with pier and promenade, electric cliff railway, steam train to Devil’s Bridge and waterfalls.
A week in this glorious county won’t be enough to discover all its delights, so a stay in Mill View might be the start of a long friendship with this area.
