This gives you a glimpse of a bygone era, as well as the industrial museum, based in the grounds of the historic tin mine. The area offers various opportunities for great days out including a number of local golf courses. Nearby Pembrey Country Park offers a myriad of activities including cycling, walking, tobogganing and pony trekking or simply enjoy the 7 miles of sandy beach on the edge of the park itself. You are close to some great sporting venues with Ffos Las racecourse and Parc Y Scarlets being within 10 miles of the cottage. Slightly further afield, why not head north and enjoy a day visiting the stunning National Botanic Gardens of Wales, Aberglasney Medieval House and Gardens or the National TrustÂ’s Dinefwr Estate, with its majestic deer park, on the edge of the town of Llandeilo. A perfect location to retreat to after a day exploring the local countryside and fabulous beaches, ideal for families and friends looking for a comfy property on the edge of a popular little town.
