Sitting room: with open fire (all fuel included), TV, DVD and French doors leading to the delightful garden affording lovely sea views and Kintyre beyond.
Kitchen/Diner: with electric oven, electric hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine.
Shower room: with shower cubicle, WC and wash basin.
Cloakroom: with WC and wash basin.
Bedroom 1: a family bedroom with a double bed and a single bed with TV.. First Floor:
Bedroom 2: with double bed with views to front over farmland and delightful sea views to Kintyre to the rear.
Bathroom: a wonderful feature of this room is the enormous and indulgent Jacuzzi bath with panoramic sea views looking towards Kintyre. . All fuel and power included. Bed linen supplied. Lawn and patio area with garden furniture. Off road parking for one car.. When you stay at The Shieling you will never want to return to the hustle and bustle of the mainland ever again. The only traffic delays will be due to a few errant sheep!
The views from some of the windows of this early 19th Century semi-detached cottage reveal magnificent seascapes across to the Kintyre peninsula. Whilst staying on the Isle why not take the short ferry trip from Lochranza to Claonaig and discover a piece of Kintyre to add to your memories. One of the most southerly Scottish Isles, Arran encapsulates the grandeur and majesty of Scotland but all packaged within an accessible area 19 miles long by 10 miles wide. Your holiday adventure begins on the ferry from Ardrossan with views of Goat Fell, Brodick Castle and the ancient and spiritual Holy Isle.
The Shieling can be booking independently or together with Achnacarry Cottage (CC539032) to accommodate the gathering of families and friends up to 12 people.
