Cottage in Isle of Arran, Whiting Bay

Isle of Arran. Sleeps up to 7

Set on the rugged coast of the Isle of Arran, this property is ideally located for walking into the village of Whiting Bay to pick up fresh bread and coffee for breakfast, or the village's popular golf course. Keen outdoorsmen will love trying out some watersports or sea fishing, whilst those less active can lounge on the sandy and pebbled beach. Heading a little further afield, find the peaceful Giants' Graves not too far away, or explore the Kildonan Castle to the south of the island. Budding hikers can head north to Goatfell, the island's highest mountain range. Enter through the charming sunroom, which offers the perfect place to relax with a book whilst soaking up some rays. Continue into the corridor and split off into the lounge or kitchen. The lounge is a spacious room with large, comfy sofas, offering the perfect spot to watch TV. The kitchen is a cosy space to both prepare food and dine, and a large family dining table offers an abundance of space to enjoy one another's company. The compact kitchen offers all you need to prepare three meals a day, including electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Just off the kitchen/diner, you'll find a WC with stand alone shower. Completing this floor is a single bedroom with beautiful garden views. Heading onto the first floor via the hallway, you'll find one super king size bedroom, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom upstairs. All three bedrooms benefit from sea views and country style oak furniture. Find a family bathroom with a shower over the bath on this floor too. The property is surrounded by a spacious green garden, which is both private and enclosed. Enjoy a meal alfresco on the outdoor picnic bench, and let kids run off some steam in the abundant space. A driveway offers space for parking, whilst further roadside spaces are available.
