Bobbin Mill Cottage, just 1.5 miles from Grizedale Forest Visitor’s Centre offers guests the chance to enjoy the great outdoors, be it cycling, walking or crossing the treetops on a high wire at Go Ape. The pretty village of Hawkshead is a mere five miles away where you’ll find a good selection of traditional shops and local pubs, the Eagle’s Head at Satterthwaite being the nearest at just over a mile away, dog friendly too!
Part of an historic water mill set on the fringe of ancient woodland, this cosy accommodation is ideal for those looking for a quiet getaway with the family and the dog with the ability to fish and even swim in Force Beck which runs through the extensive grounds of the owner’s property. The owners of the main house are very happy for you and your guests to explore their gardens which lead down to the beck and the surrounding acres of broadleaf woodland so make sure you bring your wellies!
